I am a newly converted member of the LDS Church. I receive the "Ensign" magazine every month and was wondering what the name means? I've asked a couple members of the church and they don't seem to know either. Can you tell me?

I had always thought the 10 lost tribes of Israel were lost because they were scattered throughout the world. But, I have had some people tell me that the lost tribes are still together as a people, just lost to our knowledge. I love the scriptures in D&C 133:26-34 which talk about the return of the 10 tribes. My questions are: 1) Where are the lost tribes? 2) Is there a group that has been lead somewhere that we somehow do not know of (like lehi's family was led away and hidden from the world)? How literally can those scriptures in D&C be taken?

Something I've often wondered is whether Mormons have much interaction with Covenant Theology as it was developed among Protestants after the Reformation. How do Mormons understand the various Covenants by which God has dealt with his people?

I was wondering what the Mormon view of donating organs after death was? Also, does the LDS Church accept the choice of cremation versus burial?

Why did the Lord share the great vision about the birth of Jesus Christ with Nephi and not any of the Old Testament Prophets (not in the language used in Nephi at least)?

Where does the Book of Mormon fit into Bible chronology?

Do Mormons believe that good works are also required in order for our souls to be saved? That Jesus' death on the cross is not enough?

Please explain the Mormon view of three separate personages in the Godhead vs. the orthodox Trinitarian doctrine.  Why does the Book of Mormon seem to be Trinitarian in its writings?

Can the church be true when I see members who act in ways they shouldn't?

Where is the Urim & Thummim that Joseph Smith used to translate the Book of Mormon?
